Colorful Ironies

In the pink of good health
Green thumb Judy
Grew tender roses

As a peaceful surrender
She posted a white pedal
Laid her soul
In the lavender filled dream

The sky was too clear
To be in a dark mood, then

Out of the blue
The colorful fantasies turn
Lost in a cloud
The warm sunshine
No where to be seen

The yellow fever
Stays with pain
She sees a pink elephant
A tragic black day
To take away the joy of living

Reality reminds Judy
Life is not black and white
Even though
Reality often comes as
A satirical black comedy
